We are all familiar with the challenge of drinking enough water. After all getting half your body weight in ounces can be difficult. But, have you ever thought about WHEN you should drink water?

Not many people know the importance of drinking a glass of water first thing in the morning. Sleep is the restore and regenerate time for the human body, leaving it very dehydrated in the morning. Since most people mistake thirst with hunger, drinking a glass of water (warm or cold) is a great way to flush your system and start your day.

If it is difficult for you to drink a large glass of water first thing in the morning, I recommend dropping a slice of lemon in your glass. The lemon will not only add flavor but is full of vitamins B & C, antioxidants and iron. All of which help ward off wrinkles and boost skin elasticity. No matter how groggy you are first thing in the morning, make sure you get that glass of water in!
